I am not sure what blog I was reading when I first discovered the "Post-It-Note Tuesday" project. For many months, I have enjoyed reading and laughing at all the random post-it notes out there..some sassy, some aggressive but all very entertaining.
Here are a few of my own not so funny post-it notes. Sorry, not feeling sassy today (thanks to the lingering bronchitis):
I can’t believe it is almost three years ago that I created this blog. With all the best of intentions, I had planned to blog about our new family. Apparently, I wasn’t as dedicated to the project as I had first thought. At last, it is time for a rebirth (hopefully this time it will last longer than a month) of my new and improved blog.
This time around I will focus on my hobbies...my family, my dogs, cooking, volunteering, and photography. I plan to post some yummy and healthy (and not so heathly) recipes along with photos. Maybe even swap out recipes with my blog readers (that means you). As some of you might know, that one of my resolutions this year included photography - getting an SLR camera and taking a professional class. As I learn how to use all the camera features, I will use this forum to post some of my photos. I will also take the opportunity to keep you posted on the happenings of my life.
Should be a fun ride and I hope you will enjoy it with me!
What a summer! I returned from our honeymoon with bronchitis putting me out of commission for over two weeks. It was nice to be able to get off the couch and drive down to Rochester for my very first Bonagofski Family Reunion. And I thought my family was large! There were many people who I recognized and so many more new faces. The weather was just perfect to sit back relax and enjoy the potluck (especially the turkey...yum). I am looking forward to the 2008 Bonagofski Family Reunion - I will bring the name tags ;) And to think lil' Gina will be walking by then...so much to look forward to!
Marriage is not a culmination, it is a beginning. A beginning of a life that will grow and change in ways more wonderful than we can imagine. Many years from now when we look back on our life, love and this day, we will remember that flowers, music and food were not what made this day so special. It will be our memories of sharing the beginning of our life as husband and wife with you – our friends and family. Having you there with us made our wedding truly wonderful. Understanding that life holds many momentous commitments, we thank you for sharing in one of our happiest.
We will post photos from the wedding as soon as they are available.
Welcome to our new family website. Our hope is for this blog to provide a way to stay connected with our family and friends. You will find posts with details on what we are up to along with plenty of photos. We can't thank you enough for all the prayers, love, and support you given us. Make sure to come back every now and then to see our latest posts and photos.
We look forward to sharing our adventures of being a new family with you!
